I just had to share this. Need a laugh on a Friday afternoon? Read on.
At the end of quiet time this afternoon, I went upstairs to check on Nicholas.
He was busy playing Lego in his brother’s room (with permission). He was so sweet, building an airplane in the middle of the floor, that I swooped him up for a snuggle.
Indy, who had followed me upstairs, was not impressed. I was giving attention to someone other than him. How could I? It just wasn’t allowed. He circled Nicholas and me, nipping lightly at Nicholas’ feet as they dangled in mid-air around my waist.
Nicholas started to giggle, “Mommy! Indy is like a fish, and I am the worm!!”
Where does he come up with these things?
I love four-year-olds!
